EMBARKING AND DISEMBARKING POLICIES
FIRST
The vehicle must arrive at the terminal two hours before departure time, when traveling on the Punta Venado – Cozumel Route, and one hour when traveling on the Punta Sam – Isla Mujeres route.
SECOND
Schedules may change without prior notice due to meteorological events such as winds, sea conditions and for the safety of passengers and goods. Please re-confirm your schedule prior to arrival.
THIRD
In accordance with the applicable maritime regulations, the schedules designated for Sensitive Cargo (fuel, explosive materials, gas, etc.) may incur restrictions in the boarding of passengers in family and cargo vehicles. In this case, only the driver of the vehicle and a companion, both of legal age, may board.
FOURTH
The driver must stay in his vehicle at all times during the maneuvers prior to boarding, otherwise, he may lose his place at that departure.
FIFTH
We ask you to have your boarding slip to hand at all times prior to boarding,This will ensure an easier and faster boarding process.
SIXTH
All passengers must follow the instructions of the ground traffic personnel and the crew when they are on board the ship.
SEVENTH
It is very important to verify that when parked on board, the hand brake is engaged and the gear selector is set at position ‘P’ or ‘1’.
EIGHTH
During the trip, no drivers and / or passengers are allowed to stay on board the vehicles. They must proceed to the passenger lounge and stay there during the entire trip.
NINTH
Payment must be made exclusively in the ticket booth at the boarding area.
TENTH
Pets must travel in the designated external areas of the boat. Dogs must wear a leash and be supervised by their owners at all times.
ELEVENTH
In the event of an accident with your vehicle, remain calm and follow the instructions of the crew.
TWELFTH
In the event of driving related accidents where one or more vehicles are involved, the responsibility lies with the drivers and the company will not be held responsible.
The Driver must know the dimensions and characteristics of his unit, and he will be solely responsible for any damages that the unit may suffer when boarding. Therefore, the driver´s right to refuse to board is safeguarded in case of imminent risk to the unit.
THIRTEENTH
Materials, cargo and personal items are subject to inspection by the National Guard, SEMAR, SEDENA and Customs Authorities.
FOURTEENTH
Always ask for your proof of payment and keep it safe, this document protects your insurance coverage, both for passengers and your vehicle.
